What happened at the end?!?

I enjoyed the game until the last two venues. At that point the couples requests and the after event dialogue became unreadable and nonsensical. I couldnt be bothered with completing the final levels because I anticipate that there will be no conclusion to the storyline and the play had long since passed boringly repetitive.
